Since October 2023, Innovative Diagnostics has been supporting L’Envol des Femmes. L’Envol des Femmes is a project run by the association Elevages sans Frontières, which fights poverty and malnutrition in developing countries.
What is the aim of the project?
The overall objective of the L’Envol des Femmes project is to improve the autonomy of rural women in Ouarzazate and Skoura (Marocco) by strengthening sustainable goat and sheep breeding. The project aims to eliminate poverty, develop resilient family farms, and promote gainful employment for women.
What are the main fields of action?
- Providing technical and entrepreneurial training
- Ensuring easy access to local animal health services
- Promoting agroecological practices
Which key actions have been carried out thanks to our support?
- Agroecology training for 57 women farmers
- Animal health training for 57 women farmers
- Vaccination campaigns
- Distribution of 5 first-aid kits
- Creation of a network of 10 relay women to strengthen links with local veterinary services
- Purchase of a new sprayer for the dairy cooperative
