Influenza A

ID Gene™ Influenza H5/H7 Triplex – Export version

PCR

RT-qPCR for the qualitative detection and differentiation of Avian Influenza A (H5 and H7 subtypes) in swabs, organs, tissues or nucleic acid storage cards (individual samples or pools up to 5)

Export version – only available outside of France.

The test amplifies two target sequences (H5 subtype and H7 subtype) as well as an endogenous internal control.

The kit includes a positive amplification control (PAC).
A standardized, freeze-dried positive extraction control to monitor variations in analytical sensitivity is sold separately (product code : PEC-FLUH5H7).

  • Accurate and reliable results
    • DLPCR 50 copies / PCR for H5 subtype and 25 copies / PCR for H7 subtype
    • Includes an endogenous internal control, to ascertain presence and correct conservation of the sample
  • Allows for optimized workflow
    • Rapid, 1 hour amplification protocol
    • Ready-to-use: simply dispatch the reaction mix, add the sample and run the test
  • Flexible and convenient
    • The kit is also validated on nucleic acid storage cards
    • Uses the same amplification protocol common to all ID Gene™ PCR tests, meaning that other pathogens (DNA or RNA) may be tested on the same plate
