The ID Gene™ Bluetongue genotype 1 Duplex kit (product code: IDBTV1) is a ready-to-use, qualitative Duplex detection kit that simultaneously detects in real time:

a target sequence specific to the BTV1, conserved in all known BTV-1 strains in the FAM™ channel.
a sequence specific to the endogenous Non-Target Positive Control NTPCen, a ubiquitous gene inherently present in ruminant cells, in order to validate the integrity of the sample and the quality of the nucleic acid extraction, in the Cy5 channel.
