ID Gene™ Bluetongue genotype 3 Duplex

Real-time RT-PCR kit for the qualitative detection of Bluetongue virus genotype 3 RNA in whole blood (in EDTA tubes), spleen or organs from aborted foetuses.

The test amplifies a target sequence in the genome of the Bluetongue Virus of genotype 3 (BTV-3), responsible of Bluetongue disease.
A qualitative Duplex test, it simultaneously amplifies:

  • target RNA
  • an endogenous non-target positive control.
