Real-time RT-PCR assay for the qualitative detection of Classical Swine Fever virus (CSFV) RNA in various samples.

The ID Gene™ Classical Swine Fever Virus Duplex kit is a ready-to-use, qualitative Duplex real time RT-PCR kit that simultaneously detects:

  • a target sequence specific to the Classical Swine Fever Virus genome in the FAM™ channel,
  • a sequence specific to the Endogenous Non-Target Positive Control (NTPCen), a ubiquitous gene inherently present in Suidae cells, in the VIC®/ HEX™ channel.

Duplex real-time RT-PCR for the highly sensitive and specific detection of all known strains of Classical Swine Fever virus in 50 minutes. Option to test CSFV and ASFV in parallel on the same extract with kits from the ID Gene™ ASF PCR range.
