ID Gene Lyo™ Strangles Discrimination Triplex

Real-time PCR kit for the qualitative detection of Streptococcus equi subsp. equi and subsp. zooepidemicus DNA on various samples (see specifications).

The ID Gene Lyo™ Strangles Discrimination Triplex kit is a qualitative real-time PCR kit that simultaneously detect :

  • a target sequence specific to the Streptococcus equi subsp. equi genome in the FAM™ channel,
  • a target sequence specific to the Streptococcus equi subsp. zooepidemicus genome in the VIC®/HEX™ channel,
  • a sequence specific to the Exogenous Non-Target Positive Control NTPC-EXO2 in the Cy5 Channel.

This kit can be used on nasal or nasopharyngeal swabs, guttural pouch wash samples, nasopharyngeal, bronchoalveolar or tracheal wash samples and organs for aborted foetuses (lung, liver, placenta).

The ID Gene Lyo™ Strangles Discrimination Triplex kit is provided with an amplification reaction mixture in freeze-dried format, for greater stability over time and improved resistance to transport conditions.
It is transported at room temperature, making shipping simpler, more economical and more environmentally friendly.
